FINALLY!! The ‘Ber’ months are upon us!
Firstly, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thoughts and best wishes to everyone impacted by Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton and the devastating tornadoes brought by the storm. I know many have faced incredible challenges, and my heart goes out to those dealing with the aftermath. The resilience and strength shown by affected communities are truly inspiring. I hope for a speedy recovery for all, and I’m sending positive energy your way as you rebuild and move forward.
The holiday months are an incredibly busy time for everyone, filled with festive gatherings, shopping, and celebrations. It's not just my schedule that's packed; I know my clients are juggling family commitments, work responsibilities, and social events, all while trying to find moments to relax and enjoy the season. With so much going on, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, but it's also a time to shine and celebrate our unique beauty. To ensure you have that perfect glow for all your holiday events, it's essential to pre-book your appointments. With so many people wanting to look their best during this busy season, availability can fill up quickly. By securing your spot in advance, you can avoid the stress of last-minute scheduling and ensure you get the time that works best for you. Plus, pre-booking allows you to plan ahead, so you can focus on enjoying the festivities without worrying about your beauty routine. As Halloween approaches, the right spray tan can take your costume to the next level! Whether you're dressing up as a sultry cat, a glamorous vampire, or a mystical mermaid, a flawless tan enhances your look, making your costume more vibrant and eye-catching. Spray tans provide a smooth, even complexion that helps you fully embody your character, ensuring you stand out at any party or event. Plus, with the festive season's chill in the air, a little extra glow can help you feel more confident and ready to take on the night.
You WON’T catch me pale this season, that’s for sure!
Here are my top tips and favorite routine to ensure I always have a fabulous glow, ready for any event!
Lets say I have my spray tan planned for Wednesday this week, and it is currently Monday. Here is the routine I will be following.
Monday - I Exfoliate using my favorite in shower body scrub with an exfoliating mitt. I love the Tree Hut Body Scrub (specifically the Tropic Glow scent - Sol De Janero WHO? LOL) and really any exfoliating mitt does the trick, but the one I use is by EcoTools. After my shower I moisturize VERY well with a good thick body butter. Currently I’m using the Josie Maron Argon Oil Body Butter. But any body butter will work!
Tuesday - (Day Before The Spray Tan) THE EVERYTHING SHOWER. I shave and exfoliate, but this time no scrub! Just using the exfoliating mitt. When I get out of the shower I exfoliate again with my dry brush. If you haven’t tried a dry brush, I highly recommend. (Dry brushing is great for several reasons: it exfoliates the skin, removing dead skin cells and promoting a smoother texture. It also stimulates circulation, which can help with lymphatic drainage and detoxification. Additionally, dry brushing can improve the appearance of cellulite by increasing blood flow and promoting skin elasticity.) No lotions or body butters tonight!
Wednesday - (SPRAY TAN DAY) Let’s be honest, who can go without deodorant. While wearing deodorant to your spray tan appointment is a huge no-no and you will 100% have green armpits, if you apply your deodorant first thing in the morning and wipe your arms mid day with a baby wipe (at least 2 hours before your spray tan) you should be in the clear! NO lotions, body mists or other products should be applied to skin on spray tan day. Avoid showers and excessive sweating today for the perfect spray tan application.
After the Spray Tan
After I’m done marinating it’s time for the first rinse. While I love my skin to melt off during my showers, I opt for a warm rinse this time. Yes all the cosmetic bronzers are washing off! It’s okay!! Rub your body with your hands to get all that bronzer off. I wash my hands, feet and face during this time. DO NOT WASH YOUR HAIR PLEASE :) (if you want to know why message me and i’ll show you a picture of what happens lol). After my rinse, I pat dry with a soft towel, and I put that body butter to work again! Avoid the deodorant tonight.
Thursday - It’s time for a shower with soap as normal. My favorite body wash right now is “Sand and Fog” Sweet Almond. I get it at TJ Maxx. Avoid shaving today and tomorrow. Continue to moisturize. The more the merrier.
Friday - (next) Wednesday - Continue moisturizing as often as possible. Drink a bunch of water to keep the skin hydrated. Avoid scrubs and oils. Your tan should be faded by Thursday. Here is where i’ll do a really good scrub with my Mitt and body scrub in the shower on Wednesday and dry brushing session after the shower. You’ll see a lot of your tan come off. Thats okay! We’re getting ready for another one.
Thursday - LETS SPRAY AGAIN! “Rinse & Repeat” as they say. Let’s do it all over again. This is my routine ill follow for the entire season. I’ll get my sprays every 8-9 days!

This past weekend, we had the joy of celebrating the one-year anniversary of The Bronzed Magnolia, and what a fantastic milestone it was! The event was a vibrant celebration of our journey, filled with laughter, and heartfelt connections. It was incredible to see so many of you come together to mark this special occasion, sharing in the joy and excitement of our first year.
The party was held at Garden District Taproom, and it was the perfect setting for our one-year celebration! With its cozy ambiance and vibrant atmosphere and of course the delicious beverages, the Taproom provided the ideal setting for a day of fun. A special thank you to Rosie, the wonderful owner of Garden District Taproom, for graciously letting us take over her space and create such a memorable celebration. Garden District Taproom truly helped us make this milestone an event to remember!

The party was a blast! We spent the day snapping photos, indulging in delicious snacks, and sharing lots of laughs. I think the drink of the day was the tasty Acai Seltzer on tap! We mingled, celebrated, and made the most of every moment. The photos captured all the fun and excitement of the day.
One of the highlights of the party was our spray tan tent closing competition! We set up a fun challenge to see who could close the tent the fastest, giving everyone a playful glimpse into just how tricky it can be. It was a hilarious and engaging way to show off the behind-the-scenes aspects, and everyone got a kick out of the friendly competition.
